Support

How to get help with Lanpage, and what to expect.

Getting in touch

Email support@lanpage.co from the address on your account. Include the subdomain of the app you are asking about — it is the fastest way for us to find what you are looking at.

Who you are writing to

Lanpage is operated by an independent software studio, and support is not a queue in front of a call centre: the person reading your email is the person who can change the thing you are writing about. Billing is the one exception, because Paddle is the merchant of record and issues your invoice — which is also why its name, not ours, is the one on your card statement.

Response times

We answer within 2 business days, and a vulnerability report or a report about a published site is acknowledged within 1 business day. Anything that has a published site offline is treated as urgent and worked on the same day — worked on rather than always fixed the same day, because some of those turn out to be somebody else's outage, and a promise we cannot keep is worse than a slower one we can. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding the public holidays where we operate. Lanpage is run by a small studio rather than a shift rota, so where we are going to be away for longer than a couple of days we say so on this page before it happens rather than leaving you guessing at an empty inbox.

When something is broken

Tell us what you were doing and what happened, and include the subdomain. We fix defects as soon as we reasonably can and we start with whatever leaves a published page unreachable or wrong, because that is the one failure that reaches your users rather than you. What we will not do is give you a fix time we invented to sound reassuring: you get what we know, what we are doing, and a message when it is done. If the cause turns out to be one of our providers, we say that too, and we chase them.

Billing questions

Invoices and payment methods are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, and are also reachable from the billing page in your dashboard. Write to us if something looks wrong and we will chase it with them.

Reporting a published site

If a site published on a lanpage.co subdomain is impersonating you or infringing your rights, the page on reporting a published site says exactly what to send and what we do with it. We review every report and act on the ones that stand up.

Account and data requests

A request about your own data — a copy of what we hold, a correction, an export, or closing the account and having it erased — goes to the same address, sent from the address on the account so we know it is you. We act on it within 30 days and usually the same week. The Privacy Policy is the full answer to what we hold.

What we cannot help with

We cannot tell you whether a document is adequate for your app or your country, and we cannot get an app approved: those are a lawyer's answer and a store's decision. We also cannot bring back something you deleted — backups exist so that we can recover from a disaster of our own, not as an undo button, and we do not restore an individual account, app or document from one. What we can do is make the pages exist, keep them online, and tell you when a store requirement they answer to has changed.

Security

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, email security@lanpage.co before disclosing it publicly. We will acknowledge within 1 business day and keep you informed while we fix it.
